Does the government have the prerogative to decide what is right and wrong for the society? Shouldn't we, the people i.e. People Power, decide what is just and patriotic and it is the responsibility of the government to obey the command of the people rather than have it imposing it's will upon us?
The ISA defies logic and humanity. It is wielded in the guise of promoting public safety but utilized to instil fear. That is the hypocrisy of our government. And now the government is talking about Race Relations. Another power tool for the government?
People Power has to be awakened rather than waiting for our shining knight to fight our battle. Our own inaction and abeyance creates the atmosphere that prevails in our society without realizing the damage that we are doing to ourselves and to society at large.
Wake up, my Dear Malaysians! You can't change the world let alone Malaysia if you do nothing. In order to make a difference we must ACT! We cannot be a slave forever to a system that dictates our lives. We need to start a system that is humane and real - for the betterment of our society.
The moral hazards that we have to deal with in our day to day life have reached their limit. We need to create an environment that is truly sustainable to create a truly Malaysian nation irrespective of our origins.
People are not born racist. It is taught. A child will not know the difference between black & white, or race & religion, unless we instil that into them.
Until and unless we utilize People Power, humanity, passion, and feelings for one another will be sidelined. Let's wake up and do something in our own miniscule way to enhance society rather than creeping and brooding about our own individual needs. When people start caring for one another, our own individual lives will be so much more enhanced.
